2nd: Topics/activities

On Friday morning during our retreat, our class did a few activities to really break the barrier between colleagues. Social activities that would show differences, but also show new ideas and point of views. First activity was based on communication through first eye contact, greeting with voice, then appropriate touching. This allowed shy individuals to really introduce themselves to other classmates. With our second activity, Four Corners, targeted on how students felt about certain topics and questions, such as sexuality/gender, social class, race/ethnicity, and lastly faith/religion. From my perspective, this activity not only allowed me to see different views from my peers but also better my understanding of different topics and issues. The whole retreat in my opinion was an overall success, from the abundance of food to all the social interactions in class made the experience of meeting new and awesome people much greater. Go Bayan!!!
